Turn Off Facebook Location

Sharing your current location on Facebook enables you to be more certain about your actions, therefore raising the level of interactivity on the prominent social media network. For example, this enables loved ones to satisfy around your location or interact about neighboring areas and destinations. If you do not desire to share your existing location, however, you can disable it from all status updates as well as your primary account setups.

Turn Off Facebook Location

From Status Updates

Action 1: See your main Information Feed display, after that click the "Update Status" field to expose all offered alternatives.

Step 2: Highlight the place pen situated under claimed field; the name of your present place is detailed by default.

Action 3: Click the "X" that appears beside the present location to remove it.

From Account Web page

Action 1: Click the "About" tab then click "Edit" from the major Living area.

Action 2: Click the "X" revealed next to the Current City area and/or the Hometown area to remove your existing location.

Action 3: Click "Save" to use the new settings as well as turn off your current place.
