Facebook just recently introduced auto-playing video clips on desktop and mobile, but luckily there's a switch to pull out. Here's what you have to do.

On the Desktop

For Facebook on the desktop, you can switch off auto-play video clips in your settings:.

* On Facebook, head to the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner and most likely to Settings > Video clips. You can also click here to go straight there.
