From your Facebook homepage, you are permitted to delete a piece of message, all messages or a whole discussion each time according to your requirement.

To erase a message.

Step 1 Click "Messages" from the left column of the homepage.

Step 2 Open the discussion where you intend to remove a message or messages.

Action 3 Select Erase Messages from the Actions menu.

Step 4 Tick the checkboxes to pick the messages you wish to delete.

Step 5 Click "Erase" switch.
