1. Go to their account

2. Float over friends at the top of their profile

3. Select Close Friends

Keep in mind: You can add friends to more than one list or remove friends from a list.

Approach 2

1. Open up the Facebook app.

2. Tap menu icon in top right edge > Friends

3. In the Friends tab, touch the friend you intend to add to the Close Friends list to check out her/his Facebook web page

4. Tap the Friends button > Edit Friend List

5. Select Close Friends, and after that tap Done.
